Laboratory for HIV/AIDS research and testing: This project was designed to work
with Black Lion Hospital to create a laboratory specifically for HIV/AIDS research
and testing. Ethiopia does not, at present, have a laboratory of this kind. People
To People had signed an agreement of understanding with the Addis Ababa University
Medical School. The project proposal was written, but unfortunetly due to lack of
funding, the project was never carried out.
Although past efforts to create a laboratory for HIV/AIDS research in Ethiopia have
not been succesful, People to People still believes in this dream with hopes that
it might become a reality in the future. People to People now seeks new alternatives
that would allow for the creation of a HIV/AIDS research laboratory. If you are
